Fred founded V3 in 2001, and manages day to day operations. With 30+ years providing and marketing IT industry analyses, Fred understands the underlying issues that drive clients to engage IT industry thought leaders. He also knows what is required to plan, launch, and build a successful IT industry analysis business.
Before founding V3, Fred held senior management positions at successful startup analyst firms including Giga and Aberdeen. Before that, he spent eleven years at Gartner in various leadership roles including division general manager and a member of the senior management team. Fred began his career as the consistent top sales performer at IDC.
Fred graduated from Union College in Schenectady, NY.
LINDA ZIFFRIN
Linda brings 25+ years selling leading edge technology for successful startups.
At V3 Linda focuses on ground breaking issues shaping the industry. Over the years, she identified and represented early social media and disruptive technology thought leaders helping them become well established, highly sought after advisers.
Linda began her career in IT marketing Videotext and pioneering on-line newsletter services. From there she went on to sell packaged mainframe software, and then enterprise client/server solutions for PeopleSoft. Later, she was at Employease, the first software-as-a-service, net native application. She joined V3 in 2007.
